Trump and Young Republicans

This article is about the recent drop in young voters who consider themselves Republican. More now than ever the Republican party has had trouble losing people in their party. Is this Donald Trump’s fault? Ever since Trump has gotten into office and made horrible decisions, young voters are considering themselves as independents instead of Republican. The big problems among the trump supporters and the newly independent voters are his ideas of climate change, and immigration. the article also talks about how the Republican parties young future politicians will not be able to bring strength back to the party as Republicans say. I personally believe that Trump is making a terrible name for the party. I personally see myself  as more of an independent however, Trump has made bad decision after bad decision ever since he has gotten into office. One example of this type of movement between young voters is Roy Moore's defeat in the Alabama senate election. A republican not winning a senate spot in a southern state like Alabama is a big wake up call for "Trumpism." I don't think that the Republican party is going anywhere but I do believe Republican politicians need to change the way they are doing things in order to sway young voters back to the Republican side. I believe this is an interesting read if you, like many others feel like Donald Trump is going to hurt the Republican party. This article is fact based and has real proof that the Republican party is having trouble losing followers, whether the president’s fault something is to blame for the drop in Republican Americans.

  1. I agree that Trump could, in fact be a large reason former Republicans consider themselves independent. In my personal opinion he is a JOKE. When I first saw different promotions for, "Trump for President" I genuinely didn't take it seriously. Soon after I realized the reality that Donald Trump, a man who was on a reality television show was the president of the United States I was deeply disappointed in my nation.
